American Idol says goodbye to Chris Sligh

Wow!!! I wonder why he was booted out... I find his voice a star quality and fit to be american idol... It is so sad but the American people decided and we have to say goodbye curly... though Cowell said on the performance night that Chris' rendition of "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" was a "mess." Anyway, Simon doesn't really like him because Chris Sligh always pissed him off everytime Simon utters bad comments on him. But still he is better than Sanjaya... Huhuhu... next week is gonna be a thrilling performance night because people will surely waiting for Sanjaya's new hairdo...

Allan K, may Tomoyuki Tai na???

Biglang nagkaroon ng issue sa pagitan ng stand-up comedian na si Allan K at sa Japanese model-actor na si Tomoyuki Tai. Ayon sa balita, si Tomoyuki na raw ang bagong boyfriend ni Allan at pinagkakagastusan nang husto ng co-host ng Eat Bulaga!.

"Hindi ko alam na nali-link na sila," nagtatakang sabi ni Geleen. "Ang alam ko, magkaibigan lang sila. Ang unang naging friend yata ni Tai ay si Ya Chang, who is also a Japanese like Tai. Ipinakilala siya sa manager nito na si Lito Alejandria at siyempre, kay Allan K.

Dagdag pa ni Geleen, "Nakatuwaan yata ni Allan si Tai nang minsang kumanta siya sa Zirkoh. E, nababaitan naman si Tai kay Allan kaya naging magkaibigan sila. Wala naman talagang malisya doon," sabi pa ni Geleen.

Paolo Contis and Isabel Oli, Cool-Off!!!

Hindi na nagawa pang itanggi ni Paolo Contis na cool-off muna sila ng kanyang girlfriend na si Isabel Oli. Ayon kay Paolo, may kinalaman daw sa pagiging Born-Again Christians nila kung bakit nag-decide silang maghiwalay muna.

Ayaw ngang i-label ni Paolo na break na sila ni Isabel dahil wala naman daw silang naging malaking problema.

"Ang pinaka-safe na tawag sa amin ay cool-off siguro," diin ni Paolo. "Wala namang naging problema talaga. May mga gusto lang kaming ayusin ngayon. Okay naman kami ni Isabel. We just need space muna from each other."

From the pages of a comic book by Sin City's Frank Miller comes the most visual motion picture to ever hit the big screen... 300 it is!!!

Thanks to Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) tricks, 300 is such an eye candy in totality. Indeed, what the movie lacks in substance story-wise, it makes up in its almost unimaginable replica of what transpired in the fierce and blood-soaked Battle of Thermopylae. The plot is quite boring and predictable... SPARTANS refuse to submit themselves to the Persians, they fight for freedom and eventually lost the battle. That's it. Typical right? But what amazes everybody the most is how 300 Spartans with armed with spears, shields and unbelievable wits in combat overpowered the gazillion Persians in hair-raising, spine tingling and heart-stirring battle!!! Whew!

Also hail to the only woman character in the movie, Queen Gorgo of Sparta!!! It surely pays off to be bitchy sometimes. Hehe... =)

So I say, get ready to be overwhelmed not only by stunning and enticing bodies of the 300 Spartans (hahaha) but of their extraordinary combat skills that proved that QUALITY truly outmatches QUANTITY.

Woooh!!! Brandon Rogers, Phil Stacey and Sanjaya Malakar were at the bottom 3, but sad to say that the America decided to get rid of Brandon and let Sanjaya stayed for another week to prove himself in the contest. I don’t like the Brandon leave over Sanjaya because Brandon performs better than Sanjaya last night. Though Brandon forgot some words on the lyrics but still he has a good performance.

Brandon, a back-up singer will continue to be a back-up singer as his American Idol dream failed. If only he stayed for a couple of weeks I know that he can give more than what he gave previously because he had sung for well known talent such as Christina Aguilera as back-up singer. Anyway, to Sanjaya better be good next week since America always put you at the bottom or better yet support the VFTW – VoteForTheWorst because they are campaigning for you to stay on the competition.

Simon Cowell Asked Ryan Seacrest to Come out at "Diana Ross & Top 12 Performance night"

Last night was the first performance night for the American Idol Season 6 top 12, and the theme was Diana Ross’s songs - Diana Ross & Top 12. Some pushed through the nerves and shined… Last night’s best performance was Lakisha and Melinda, Paula even cried after Melinda’s performance but I kinda started to like Sanjaya but still he didn’t outburst his very talent in singing when he perform on stage… he is like holding on his voice. Anyway, who will be eliminated? We will find it out tonight.

But before that, Simon Cowell asked Ryan to come out in Ryan’s interview with Melinda after he (Ryan Seacrest) asked Simon what could he advise on Melinda Doolittle’s high heels.

Ryan Seacrest: "We have a question from Georgia. What do you consider the hardest part of this contest?" Melinda Doolittle: "Wow. I would have to say the high heels and these dresses. I like my tennis shoes and my sweat pants. I'm sorry." Seacrest: "Simon, any advice on the high heels?" Cowell: "You should know, Ryan." “Come out Ryan”, Simon Added. Then Ryan answered (with a grin on his face), “Don’t go in my closet again Simon.” “We (Ryan and Simon) are friends.” And he smiled.

Hmmm… Ryan Seacrest be careful in hiding in your closet… we smell something through Simon Cowell…

Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 - Housemates Now Complete Its List

I didn’t post about PBB season 2 since the show started this year because first I want to see the complete list first before commenting, and second I can’t stand to stay up late at night since I have an early morning shift for my work, and staying late will only suffer my schedule in the morning. But since the whole cast of PBB is now completed, I think this is the time to have my say about it.

There are two familiar faces on this season’s housemates like Bruce Quebral a basketball hunky whose pictures are rampant on blogs and websites… and the secret housemate Tirso Cruz’s son Bodie.

A new twist has happened in day 13 of Pinoy Big Brother as not only did Big Brother clandestinely welcome 4 secret housemates but he also revealed secret places inside the Big Brother House.

With their eyes covered, the four secret housemates were ushered inside Big Brother’s sandy, secret garden by hosts Bianca Gonzales, Mariel Rodriguez and Jason Gainza.

One of the 4 housemates who will stay inside the secret garden is Jeremy Hidano. Despite growing up in Japan and being raised by a Japanese step-father, this 20-year-old is proud to say that he is 100 percent Filipino.

Another secret housemate who grew up far from the Philippines was Maricris Dizon. Growing up in Italy, Maricris recalled that she did not experience any discrimination and she had a harmonious life living abroad.

The third person to enter the secret garden was ‘kikay’ girl Mikah Dizon. If some people think that she is lucky because of her endowments, this 20-year-old student from Baguio thinks otherwise.

Last to enter the secret garden was self-confessed PBB fan Bodie Cruz. Son of veteran actor, Tirso Cruz III, Bodie admitted that he had never been with strangers and joining PBB was the biggest risk he has ever taken.

The four secret housemates were left inside the garden without their basic needs.

American Idol Season 6 - Final 12, Antonella Barba Out

Antonella Barba, one of the American Idol’s season 6 most controversial contestant this year is finally booted out last Thursday’s elimination episode. And America finally completed the list of this season's final 12, but what made the American’s surprised is that Sanjaya Malakar whom they expected to be not in the final 6 made the cut that made Sundance sent home. But in fairness to Sanjaya he can register his voice works well.

Anyway, now that Antonella’s American Idol dream won’t pursue this season, what will be her career shift be? Since she got the nerve to expose her nudity in public, people will presume that she will follow the steps of Paris Hilton. Hmmm… I think no one yet can be as bitch as Paris Hilton. Dear Heart Movie with Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz, Tuloy Na!

John Lloyd Cruz is excited to work again with the Popstar Diva Sarah Geronimo. Even though they were not that close with each other, though they worked together at the “Kuwintas” episode of Maala-ala Mo Kaya last year but they didn’t have the chance to get closer and become friends because of the hectic schedule of the shooting and Sarah was scheduled to fly in the US for her one month US concert tour “The Other Side of Sarah”. They were in the same show ASAP ’07, but still they didn’t talk that often, just “hi” and “hello”, however he is still wanted to work again with Sarah.

"Masayahin siya, parang ang gaan-gaan ng loob ko sa kanya," John Lloyd said about Sarah.

"Kaya lang, ayoko pa ring isipin na tuloy na kami. Kasi kung minsan, kahit nagsimula na kayong mag-shooting, napapalitan pa rin [ang casting]. But according to Studio 23’s show “BLOG” it is scheduled and “Dear Heart” movie remake will pursue with them (John Lloyd and Sarah) together.

American Idol Finalist Antonella Barba, Safe Still...

Antonella Barba was still safe last night, I thought she will say goodbye to American Idol dreams when Ryan Seacrest called her attention to stand-up on stage with Leslie… But She should thank the people because they still believe in her potential to be in the finals after those scandal pictures that shared out all over the Internet.

"We have really good background checks on everybody, and we deal with that every season," Alex Gillespie, a Fox publicist in New York for the top-rated show, told EW.com. "It's sad, isn't it, that your best friends are the ones that come forward with information that will go to Smoking Gun or put your photographs on the Web?"

She will endure another week with barefaced criticisms from people with her issues and probably she will get over with it because the news reports on websites about her is what everyone seems to be curious about and they will kepp voting for her hoping to see a naughty Antonella Barba on AI stage perform. But she also has talent though she also had some leaks of naughtiness. Good luck to Antonella!

Unlucky for Nicholas, Alaina, AJ, & Leslie, it was the end of the American Idol journey for them last night.
