American Idol Finalist Antonella Barba, Safe Still...

Antonella Barba was still safe last night, I thought she will say goodbye to American Idol dreams when Ryan Seacrest called her attention to stand-up on stage with Leslie… But She should thank the people because they still believe in her potential to be in the finals after those scandal pictures that shared out all over the Internet.

"We have really good background checks on everybody, and we deal with that every season," Alex Gillespie, a Fox publicist in New York for the top-rated show, told "It's sad, isn't it, that your best friends are the ones that come forward with information that will go to Smoking Gun or put your photographs on the Web?"

She will endure another week with barefaced criticisms from people with her issues and probably she will get over with it because the news reports on websites about her is what everyone seems to be curious about and they will kepp voting for her hoping to see a naughty Antonella Barba on AI stage perform. But she also has talent though she also had some leaks of naughtiness. Good luck to Antonella!

Unlucky for Nicholas, Alaina, AJ, & Leslie, it was the end of the American Idol journey for them last night.

I'm not sure if the people still believe in her or, as you said, they just like seeing the scandal...and I'm sure some guys have developed crushes on her as well. And don't forget Vote for the Worst is rallying the troops to vote for her as well! I thought she was pretty good during audtions but since the show started she's been all thumbs down for me.

Yeah, she never shined out at the finals because she has been with other finalist which are also the best. But still she sings very well though not as good as you expected.

Maybe you are right too christen, that people vote for her not because she's the best, maybe the people vote for her because probably people expected Antonella might make a scandalous actions on stage while performing at the AI stage. (winks)

"Sparks to fly at American Idol? posts betting odds on the last two American Idol singers"
They're down to the final two on American Idol, as Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis are the last two singers vying for the Idol crown., one of the Internet's top gambling sites, is well-known for providing its customers with the best odds on everything from sports to entertainment to politics. And they've bolstered their offerings once again with the release of their American Idol final odds. has listed young Jordin Sparks as the favorite to win American Idol at -400 odds. The 17-year-old from Glendale, Arizona has been at the top of our list for quite a while and her performances have continued to improve.

Stepping in to the role of underdog at is Blake Lewis at +250 odds. Lewis has survived the Idol cut a few times now by blaring out his original takes on classic songs, often infusing them with his beat-box stylings.

Lewis was an underdog to even make the final two, but somehow squeezed through. A runner-up finish would be disappointing for many of his fans, although it hasn't been detrimental to the careers of Clay Aiken and Katharine McPhee.

In a somewhat surprising result, Melinda Doolittle was dropped last week despite many observers considering her to be the best singer left in the competition. As past Idol seasons have shown the best singer doesn't always wear the crown, but Doolittle's career is likely only beginning.

The American Idol performances air Tuesday night on Fox, followed by the season finale results show on Wednesday night, when the next American Idol will be named.
