Browsing over the net today to read blogs to update myself to the world and I came through this filipinasoul.com page and there’s this post about Asian Television Awards and here are the list for ABS-CBN’s shows that are nominated:

Best Entertainment Presenter: Sharon Cuneta for SHARON
Best Current Affairs Programme: Juvenile Injustice
Best Current Affairs Programme: XXX
Best News Programme: TV Patrol World

Sharon Cuneta show was nominated, The awards night will be this coming November 30, 2006, sure Sharon will make her best look when she will received her award if ever her name will be called for the Best Entertainment Presenter and stand on stage in front of fellow Asian artist. But to some nominees, specially those who are conscious about their looks because of hair loss, I think a visit at Connecticut hair restoration clinic will be of help. You can be sure of the service with the experts at Pistone Hair Restoration you can look no further than your hometown to deal with your hair loss needs.

What is Asian Television Awards?

Asian Television Awards is an appreciation to recognize and reward programming and production excellence in Asia's television industry. Held every December, the Awards draws about 1,400 entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-TV stations and pay-TV platforms, as well as many independent productions houses in Asia. Every year, at least 9 jury sessions are held in several Asian cities including Kuala Lumpur and Singapore where the panel of judges of over 15 countries evaluate and select the entries in close sessions. The results are then tabulated and audited by PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the winners are being announced during the Awards' night in Singapore. Launched in 1996, the Awards usually be given out for over 30 categories including Best Documentary Program, Best News Program, Best Cinematography, Best Current Affairs Presenter and many more.

All profit goes to the Asian Television Awards Sponsorship Fund, which was set up to assist students to further their studies in broadcasting-related courses.
