Paris Hilton was stripped of her hair extensions when she was hauled into the hoosegow, but she got them back yesterday - her first order of business after spending 22 days behind bars.

Looking exuberant - and reportedly several pounds thinner than her preprison weight - the heirhead sashayed past two rows of reporters and photographers held behind yellow police tape at the Lynwood women’s jail. Her parents, Rick and Kathy, were there to meet her.
“She fulfilled her debt. She was obviously in good spirits. She thanked people as she left,” said Steve Whitmore, the sheriff’s spokesman.
Paris is - once again - on probation until March 2009 and must keep her driver’s license current and not break any laws. She can reduce that time by 12 months if she does some community service. - Bostonherald.com
