Francis Magalona died due to Leukemia

Francis Magalona died at 12 noon today March 6, 2009, due to Leukemia. Vic Sotto confirmed the news over GMA's noontime show Eat Bulaga and asked for a minute of prayer for the eternal repose of the singer-composer's soul. Francis Magalona, 44 was diagnosed with leukemia in August last year. He reportedly succumbed to his illness at the Medical City in Mandaluyong City.

I thought he was recovering from Leukemia then because I can hear in the news that he is getting stronger. Condolence to his family.
