Media icon, Game ka na Ba and Kapamilya Deal or No Deal host and most controversial actress Kris Aquino has always accompanied her sterling success with a tumultuous personal life; and shortly after her marriage to PBA cager James Yap, rumors are now circulating that the two are a couple no more. A lot of marital issues – even James’ faithfulness – have been questioned and, for the first and only time on The Buzz, the two were on hand to address these accusations."I’ve always tried my best to be truthful and honest," a tearful Kris relates. "Wala akong kasalanan… lahat ng paliwanag ay naganap na sa loob ng tahanan namin." She also addressed that rumors of her being a ‘sugar mommy’ is hurting her family, and that James is in fact very capable financially. And although she confirmed that the two were not in good terms, she found it insignificant to address the cause of this friction because it is a very personal matter. "He has a good relationship with his in-laws," she adds. She dismisses any love lost between James and her mother, saying: "This is the first situation where my mom welcomed my partner."
James was also present, and he looked every inch the apologetic husband. "Gagawin ko ang lahat para mapatawad ako," he relates. "Handang-handa ako sa kahit anong mangyari… kahit anong mangyari ipaglalaban kita." Kris ended the discussion by saying: "Kahit sinong misis bibigyan ng pagkakataon ng asawa niya, dahil mahal na mahal niya ito."
And so even if the root cause of their conflict was not revealed everyone, including host Boy Abunda, found closure in the fact that Kris Aquino and James Yap has put their troubles behind them for the sake of having a complete family.
Well, Kris should now learned a lesson that having a problem with men is not just a snap away and split... I just hope she will keep her promise to keep her husband for the good of her family to be. It seems that Kris still see herself as big as she is to be, but yesterday's episode of the buzz she tries to step down being a mapagmalaking Kris to a regular celebrity house wife.
