PEP - The public was able to get a glimpse of Startalk's interview with Hope last night, February 22, in GMA-7 news program 24 Oras. The video showed Startalk host Lolit Solis interviewing the alleged other woman in Kris Aquino and James Yap's life.
Throughout the interview, Hope's identity was concealed. Her back was to the camera and her family name was undisclosed.
"Opo, niligawan niya ako," said Hope about her relationship with James.
Their affair reportedly lasted for 10 months—from March 2006 to January 2007. Kris and James were secretly wed in civil rites on June 10, 2005. Almost a year after, the couple finally admitted on national television about their union.
Hope said that she didn't know about James's marriage to the TV host-actress. According to her, she was the last to know.
Even though she later on realized that she is James's other woman, she admitted, "Hindi ako naghangad na pangakuan ako ni James ng kahit ano kasi alam ko—doon lang ako e..."
Hope also stressed, "Wala po talaga akong balak na sirain [ang pamilya nila]. Sa akin lang, hindi ko sinisira. Nung pinasok ko ‘yon, alam ko kung saan ako."
She has a message to all the Kris and James supporters: "Sa mga sumusubaybay po kay Miss Kris Aquino at kay James Yap, sana po ‘wag n'yo akong husgahan. ‘Wag kayong magalit sa akin kasi tao lang po ako. Babae lang din ako na na-in-love."
