Sa SOP in-introduce ang first runner-up ni First Philippine Idol Mau Marcelo na si Jan Nieto. Tinawag siyang Charming Ballader, Hmmm... official SOP artist na si Jan ang bagong kakikiligan ng mga SOP fans. Of course no wonder why Philippine Idol talents are coming into the GMA Kapuso network because ABS-CBN Kapamilya has own singing talent search and since Philippine Idol season 2 will air in GMA-7 next year I am sure this will be another competion of singing talent search between networks.
