I just can't help it... Natawa talaga ako, I know it is not a laughing matter because I can see that Christian Bautista sing it with all of his heart, only he forgot the lyrics at the last part.
Kahit na ako, minsan nakakalimutan din ang part na yan... buti nalang hindi sa international scene niya ito ginawa at kung nagkataon ay siguradong pinagtatawanan tayo ng buong mundo.
Eh kasi naman bakit hindi yung original na tono ng Lupang Hinirang ang susundin at gusto pang gawing ala Star-Spangled Banner style ang Lupang Hinirang, ayan tuloy sabit. Dalawang Bautista na ang sumabit sa Lupang Hinirang una si Jennifer Bautista noong laban ni Manny Pacquiao, ngayon si Christian, so, Mark Bautista mag handa kana... baka ikaw ang susunod. hehehe...
Nag-apologize naman si Christian Bautista sa mga Filipino:
I apologize to the Filipino People for the lapse of memory that occured yesterday during my rendition of the National Anthem.
I was recovering from a cold and the adrenalin and excitement of the moment got me through it. Unfortunately, it was at the cost of a momentary lapse on my part.
I promise that my next rendition of our National Anthem will be faultless.
Anyway, I am sure he will never get a chance again to sing Lupang Hinirang in any big events or occasions.
