After co-producing the P20-million independent film Angels and buying a P16-million house in Quezon City, Angel Locsin is not yet done investing her hard-earned money. She is planning to put up her very own sportswear brand.
"It's like a boutique, like Nike, pero much cheaper," she said excitedly about her new endeavor.
The Asian Treasures star is leaving on July 6 for the Angels promotional tour in the United States.
She is heading off to London, England on July 15 to start a short course in fashion design at St. Martin's School of Arts—where Chirstian Dior creative director John Galliano studied his craft.
First time! Mahal sa London, so magtitipid ako. Ako maglalaba ng damit ko at lahat!"
Angel has yet to reveal details about her new project, but says that she has three other non-showbiz male business partners.
"Nag-meet kami sa eroplano... Hindi niya ako kilala. May nagpapa-picture sa akin. Lumapit siya, ‘Excuse me. I'm just curious kasi ang daming nagpapa-picture sayo, sino ka ba?' Nagkuwentuhan kami.
Meeting meeting kami. Matagal na ‘tong plano, last year pa," narrated Angel.
Angel has one practical answer as to why she is investing millions in this business: "Para lang din may fallback ako, just in case." - Philippine Entertainment Portal
