I bet you did, because they are the number one British singing girl group sensation in the 90’s who popularized the "Wannabe", "2 become 1", "Mama", "Spice Up Your Life", etc. And here's the good news for you Spice Girls fans, after a seven-year split, the girls will reunite for Live Aid II concert, which takes place in London's Hyde Park on Saturday, July 2 and a new album which they currently working.
According to Daily Mirror, "The girls have all signed up to do this and they're really looking forward to it". "It's not going to be officially announced until next week but all the parties have signed on the dotted lines". "It's going to be absolutely amazing. Nobody can quite believe it's happening, but the cause is so worthwhile."
Elton John, Joss Stone, Sir Paul McCartney, U2, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Oasis, Sting, The Who and Eminem will be among the stars who will attend to the concert.
Aside from the concert, the girls are working their new album to which Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton, aka. Ginger and Baby Spice, are already finish their part where they’re said to be recording their new album and they were unable to contain their joy after completing their session, jumping up and down, hugging and giggling. While Melanie C, said that she already recorded her part while LA-based members Melanie B and Victoria Beckham are booked to fly to the UK to complete their parts.
This is some kind of a gift for all the Spice Girls fanatics out there.
